A Troublesome Conscience

Everyone has a conscience, though not everyone's conscience is the same. Some of us reconize that we have consciences that let us get away with way too much. But others of us might have an over-active conscience, causing us to worry and fret over everything we do. There must be a good use for the conscience, but can it ever go to far?

Check out Ed Welch's discussion of the benefits and limitations of our consciences. Take note of how he applies the Gospel to our conscience and demonstrates a new standard by which we must now analyze our actions.
